The three signs of carpet mould are a persistent musty smell that doesn’t go away
after vacuuming, visible dark green, black or white patches (often starting at the edges or
under furniture), and a carpet that feels damp or spongy underfoot. If any of these sound
familiar, don’t ignore them — mould spreads below the surface long before you can see it.
